There will be two masterclasses for lute players, also open to lute song duos, taking place during the festival, one run by Nigel North and the other Bor Zuljan. These masterclasses will be focusing on the music of Dowland and his influences.

There will be 3 short slots of 30 minutes in each masterclass. If you would like to apply to play in one of these masterclasses please send an application to: dowland400festival@gmail.com by June 1st.

We will prioritise students and young professionals but welcome applications from everyone.

What to include in the application:

• Video of you performing lute taken within the last year as a youtube link (can be an unlisted video)

• Proposed music to be performed in the masterclass, we suggest no longer than 5 minutes of music

• Short Biography

• Photo to be used in Masterclass program
